With a 1610 membership you’ll have access to state of the art fitness equipment and a great range of group exercise classes, be able to take a dip in our swimming pool as well as receiving expert support and advice from our friendly motivating team members.

Your premier membership will provide

• UNLIMITED access to 1610 leisure centres (restrictions apply)
• UNLIMITED 1610 exercise classes (excluding pre-paid courses)
• UNLIMITED use of all racquet sports
• UNLIMITED fitness room access
• UNLIMITED access to casual swimming (restrictions apply)
• Priority booking on classes and courts

We also provide Premier Joint membership which is for any 2 adults living at the same address and Premier Concession for anyone over the age of 60 years or on means tested benefits.

Students aged 12+ and in full-time secondary education from Year 7 to Year 13. Years 12 - 13 are the first two years immediately following compulsory education and students may be in school sixth form, sixth form college FE college or other training providers.

The fit & active membership includes:

• UNLIMITED use of 1610 exercise classes (restrictions apply)
• UNLIMITED use of all racquet sports
• UNLIMITED fitness room access (restrictions apply)
• UNLIMITED access to casual swimming (depending on the facility)

If your doctor or health professional feels that physical activity can help with an existing medical or health condition they can refer you to join our Exercise referral membership which provides extra support, guidance and motivation.

This membership gives you full access to the Centre facilities and will be for a maximum of 3 months

Our exercise referral gym staff will work closely to ensure you receive the best possible exercise prescription for you, which includes all group exercise classes, swim sessions where applicable and use of our fitness suite.

Here at 1610 we have 6 swimming pools across Devon, Dorset and Somerset for you to dive into. Our comprehensive swim programme offers everyone the chance to swim, splash, learn and enjoy.

From 6 months up until 90 years old, from Mother and Baby Toddler Sessions to Adult Swimming Lessons our swim pathway will help you progress to where you want to be.

All our lessons are run by qualified instructors and run in line with Swim England guidelines. You can learn how to swim in small groups or have private swimming lessons based on individual requirements.
