Caryford Leisure Centre closure

1610 have made the difficult decision to close Caryford Leisure Centre on the 31st December 2022 and hand back the facility to the school.

Since reopening after the pandemic, the centre has not seen the same level of business return and usage levels has been much lower.

With the increasing operational costs, and drop in business, 1610 are no longer able to make it a viable business or sustain the increasing costs and losses the Leisure Centre is now making.

All direct debits will be cancelled from the 15th December and DD payments taken on the 8th December will be reduced to reflect usage up to the end of the year. The centre can be used on a PAYG basis until the end of the year.

For anyone who is due a refund we will process these throughout December.

We would like to thank you for your support over the years. 1610 have operated the centre since 2009 and have enjoyed offering community sports, leisure and wellbeing to the Ansford and Castle Cary area.
