Lifeguards - Dorchester Sports Centre

At 1610 our boundless energy inspires others to make a real difference to their lives. Dorchester Sports Centre is a state-of-the-art Sports Centre with an Indoor Swimming Pool, Interactive Prama studio, immersive Group Cycle studio and a 60 station Fitness Suite.

Dorchester Sports Centre require permanent lifeguards, 20 to 40 hours per week (hours to be discussed at interview).

1610 can provide training to achieve the NPLQ lifeguard qualification or renewal if required.

As a Lifeguard at Dorchester Sports Centre, you will maintain our high quality standards while working with users to ensure their needs are met whilst using the facility. This includes providing a high level of customer service whilst completing any of your duties such as lifeguarding, greeting customers, setting up equipment, general administration and any cleaning requirements.

Successful candidates will require an Enhanced DBS Check.

Essential:

• NPLQ qualification (or 1610 can provide training)
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or irregular hours
• Excellent customer service skills

Desirable:

• Level 1 or 2 Swim Teacher qualification

Hours: 20 - 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £25,466.64 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours)
